Olive Dryden has just been given the ultimate lifeline. Her Aunt Mildred's dying wish was for Olive to take over Dryden Manor in the wake of her passing. Currently living in her car, Olive can't think of a better time to start over than now.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has other plans and Olive finds herself stranded in a roadside mechanic shop with the rugged and sarcastic owner until the winter storm passes.

When Olive finally gets to her new home and life of solitude and seclusion, she begins to question everything she's ever thought to be true and will soon find out that nothing is what it seems when you're at Dryden Manor.
